RENNET NATUREN STD PLUS 290 is a standardized rennet derived from calf stomach extracts, containing enzymes that specifically target kappa-casein for excellent curd formation. It also aids in flavour and texture development. The active enzymes are chymosin (EC 3.4.23.4) and bovine pepsin (EC 3.4.23.1).
This “NB” product contains no added benzoate. While benzoate helps preserve microbial quality, its recommends adhering to proper storage and transportation temperatures. If this isn’t possible, consider using a benzoate-free powder or liquid containing benzoate.
This Calf Rennet is in liquid form and can be used to produce any type of cheese.
Recommended dosage rate 1.6ml per 10l of milk
Please note dosage can be adjusted based on cheese type and milk characteristics.
